Any staff who have a key working relationship with service-users who have a history of violence and abuse against others. To assist participants in thinking though how they can work effectively and appropriately with perpetrators by the end of the course participants should:

Have considered how their own reactions may help or hinder their working relationship with a perpetrator
Have learnt how to establish a safe an appropriate relationship with a perpetrator
Understand better the forces that lead to the violence and abuse
Be aware of different ways of working with perpetrators.
